A collaboration with Radiohead, Stanley Donwood and Nigel Godrich while working at Universal Everything. Your screen is the window into an evolving world. Each playthrough presented a unique, spatialized soundtrack of unreleased remixes from the King of Limbs sessions. The virtual world contained its own internal calendar: evolving on a daily basis with new palettes, environments, and creatures to encounter.

Originally released in February of 2014, it garnered over a million viewers within the first few months. In september of the same year, in the spirit of an evolving landscape, the worlds were overwritten with the content of PolyFauna v2 to coincide with release of Thom's new solo album.

"It comes from an interest in early computer-life experiments and the imagined creatures of our subconscious," as Yorke describes it.

I discuss the project's concepts and technical aspects in this interview with Creative Applications.
