Together with Sigur Rós, a few of us at Magic Leap explored the future of music through this interactive audio-visual experience. Sound Spirits, or "Tónandi" in Icelandic, manifest in your environment as a virtual ecosystem providing a unique soundscape with each session.
Three distinct thematic worlds unfold along the journey: a lush, living underwater garden, followed by a cavernous glacial cave, and finally a smoldering, geothermal landscape.
Leveraging Magic Leap's unique feature-set, the experience adapts to your environment, and responds naturally to your eyes, hands, and movement. Tónandi was originally released in 2018 alongside the long-awaited Magic Leap One Spatial Computing platform.
